What is in version one?

Three different kinds of statement
Published specifications describe what a manufacturer says. Editorial guidance explains what to check at home. Unverified information stays unverified; we do not silently fill it with a different region's model or a generated guess.
How the home finder works
The finder is a deterministic, local rules-based tool, not a language-model chatbot. It excludes a robot when its recorded height is at least the measured gap. This is a basic dimension screen, not a fit guarantee. All remaining candidates still require spare clearance and an actual access check.
Requesting an automatic mop-washing dock excludes models without one. Hard-floor or mixed-floor preferences add two preference points for that dock and one for an extending mop. Carpet preferences add three for documented automatic mop removal, or one for a recorded lift. A pet-hair preference adds two for a documented anti-tangle or hair-cutting brush. A simpler-dock preference adds three for a dust-only auto-empty dock. A mixed-floor preference also applies the carpet rule.
These internal preference points are not cleaning-performance scores. Ties are sorted alphabetically by full model name. Home area changes the preparation advice, not the score: we do not have comparable real-home coverage tests. Suction, brand commission, product price and business margin do not affect the ranking.
A request for mandatory plumbing produces only candidates for an installation enquiry, not confirmed matches. The catalogue does not verify kit stock, inclusion, local availability or installation approval. No budget recommendation is made because live prices are not verified.
The home demo
The renderer projects simple 3D geometry into an isometric view. The robot follows a designed, obstacle-aware route. Models, rooms, furniture, arm extensions and timings are stylised. It is not a physics engine, manufacturer digital twin, LiDAR simulation, or prediction of real cleaning results.
How to check a claim
Each product and guide links to its source pages. Follow the source and confirm the exact model suffix, local package and latest manual with the seller. Prefer a written quote and site assessment for installation-sensitive purchases.
